Best church in Minneapolis. Very welcoming community with great energy. Not the traditional mass style, there is much more life to it. Great for all ages. They have a family mass as well. The music is always phenomenal. This is a much more liberal parish that welcomes everyone.
Absolutely awful heretical church, if you go here, why even call yourself a Catholic? Go to some random Protestant church if you want to live in the world, and think being seen as tolerant is more important than following Christ.
I walked in and walked out. It doesn’t celebrate the message of Christ but self artistic expression. I came to attend mass not a hippie concert. If you look for salvation it isn’t here. I came here because it is the feast Day of Saint Joan of Arc tomorrow. I accidentally went through the school because the church was closed mass was in the gym. Along the way I saw nothing but communist propaganda being pushed on the children. Disturbing.

I am not a Catholic (not even Christian!) but my husband is. This is a church we can agree on, that teaches what I consider the REAL message of the Bible: social justice, acceptance, and peace. We always leave feeling centered and inspired. Our daughter was baptized here, and we look forward to participating more in many of the family-friendly opportunities they offer for volunteering and service. The congregation is a fairly diverse mixture of cultures, ages, sexual orientations, and skin tones. It takes a lot for me to feel comfortable at a church, and I certainly do here. Love it.

This has been my church for forty years! My grandparents came here from St. Richard's. I have been blessed to have sja in my life from the jump. It has created a warm, creative, & entertaining place to learn, practice, & strengthen my faith. I feel better about the past, present in the moment, and hopeful about the future here on Sundays. Finally, the 🎶 stays on point like Stacy Adams to 👢! ✔️ Us out!
The this a very special and holy church, where ALL are truly welcome. I always feel uplifted and energized after Mass here. SJA is a community where I feel the presence, mercy, and love of Jesus, as well as better understand the responsibility that comes with being a Christian and a follower of Christ.
We were there over the 4 th holiday and attended the 9:00 AM welcome back mass. It was a wonderful mass and celebration. We felt very welcome. I pray my son and his fiancé will check you out. I brought them home one of your parish bulletins🙏. …
